What to know about me:
My name is Elsie Velazquez. I am currently working full time as a legal assistant, pursuing a marketing degree, and preparing for the Arnold Amateur Figure Competition being held March 4-7, 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. My goal is to give 110% to all that I do and learn from each experience. If I can motivate others along the way, that is just an added bonus! Having always been very shy and lacking confidence, it was the last thing I imagined myself doing. However, after getting on stage at my first competition and doing well, it felt like such an accomplishment- not simply physically but emotionall and mentally as well. I feel that with each figure competition, I am peeling away layers of shyness and insecurity. That, to me, is very rewarding!
